My son asked for a "diary" and it's hard to find ones for boys that don't have kitties or ponies on them. He helped pick this one out and liked it because it's "plain." Each spread includes blank page on left, lined page on right. He writes stories on the lined pages and draws the pictures on the left. Really nice for this dual purpose. And best of all, very affordable. I wish it were a layflat binding so it would be easier to open and write in, however, and for younger kids, the lines are quite close together. But for an inexpensive journal, it's pretty good. The paperback case is glossy and I think that will help it to hold up better (wipe clean).Product details

Terrible. The pages were printed upside down with the top margin at the bottom of the page. Not worth $10. Returned to .
